As one of the youngest casino executives, he epitomizes the new breed of executive – young, razor-sharp, and completely wired into the pulse of Las Vegas.

To hold this title at one of the Strip's top resorts is to possess the ultimate backstage pass, to preside over a world where reality stops and fantasy kicks in. A place that exists only in our daydreams and imagination. I had to ask, “How could a 38yr old have done so much in such a short time?”

“I watch for positive opportunities that will enrich my life.” Richard adds, “I take advantage of what life has to offer and try to create good karma in everything I do. I have found my passions in making others feel good and everything else just falls into place.”

When it comes to nightlife Richard is your best connection. Wait lists, cover charges and velvet ropes don't apply to his guests. Play big enough, Richard will have Vegas on a string for you. So what makes someone fit to assist the rich and famous? It takes what many don’t have in today’s busy and fast-paced society — trust and a genuine personality. Wilk possess both these qualities and puts them to good use for everyone’s benefit, including his own. “Celebrities get mobbed all the time, and the last thing they want from me is to act the same way as their fans,” says Wilk. “In Vegas I’m here to help them. I build strong relationships of trust and keep what happens in Vegas between us.”

Richard’s passion is seen throughout his work. Where you see it the most is when he creates an experience, a moment or even photo opportunity that can’t never be re-lived. This is what he calls creating “First”. I asked, how might this happen…?

“I might be talking to one of my very famous friends and all of a sudden one of my casino guests will approach me for help but before I run off I’ll introduce them. Now that’s a first! The guest meets that celebrity not as a fan but one of my guests. That becomes a great memory for the guest plus they never forget me for creating the moment. I love doing that” Richard explains with excitement in his voice.

When it comes to sports, Richard has taken care of some of the top athletes in the world along with their coaches and has be given footballs, basketballs, baseballs even a hockey stick all autographed by entire teams as appreciation for his exceptional service. Vegas is the place to celebrate and party after a long season or champion game. “I always enjoy taking care of athletes,” replies Richard, “they know how to play hard and I teach them how to party Vegas style!”

A Vegas lifestyle would not be complete unless it had sexy, beautiful women in it. Of course Richard has his share of female friends. You will always find the best looking women in Vegas at Richard’s parties and events. They tend to gravitate towards his charm always knowing they are in perfectly safe hands. Wow! Imagine all of this in the past 8 yrs in Vegas. Richard has built such a great reputation in Las Vegas that Travel Channel, VH1 “The Fabulous Life of Vegas” and even Sirius Radio has asked him to speak as an expert on Vegas. Can’t forget the Mark Brunett Reality Show “The Casino” that played on Fox in 2004 in which Richard captured, in 5 episodes, how he took care of business in front of millions of viewers around the world. Also, watch for Richard’s cameo, this summer, in the movie “Bachelor Party Vegas.” Another interesting fact, we found, was that richardwilk.com has been viewed in almost every country in the World. One last question I had to ask Richard, “How does it feel to be Richard Wilk living in Las Vegas?”

“I feel really blessed. I get to take care of people from all around the world. I get to create excitement and make people feel good, very few can say that and I love it! The smile I get is thanks enough. I’ve learned to live life and make it happen the way I want it to. We all have the power to do anything we want… I know because I live everyday.”
